THE UNIQLO SELFLESS SELFIE PROJECT SUBMISSION TERMS

The UNIQLO Selfless Selfie Project Submission Program (“Program”) is offered by UNIQLO EUROPE LTD (“UNIQLO”). By making a submission, you agree to abide by these terms (“Submission Terms”) and decisions of UNIQLO and its designees, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Program.

WHO CAN SUBMIT: You must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United Kingdom or benefit a parental consent duly signed by a legal representative of the minor. Program is void where prohibited by law and subject to all applicable laws.

HOW TO SUBMIT: For consideration to be featured in The UNIQLO Selfless Selfie Project (“Exhibition”), post a photo and text with a pledge to do good in your everyday life with #3dselfie and #UNIQLOLondon (“Submission”) via Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Flickr, Google+ or the UNIQLO page on Facebook. Making a Submission as part of this Program does not guarantee that your Submission (or any Submission) will be used as part of the Exhibition. All Submissions (if any) will be selected by UNIQLO, in its sole and absolute discretion. If UNIQLO selects your Submission for use as part of the Exhibition, it may decide to only use part or portions of your Submission. UNIQLO makes no guarantee that any Submissions submitted for consideration as part of this Program will be ultimately selected for use as part of the Exhibition. Please understand that you will have no approvals over the final Exhibition if your Submission is selected. UNIQLO does not guarantee that all Submissions initially selected for use in the Exhibition will ultimately appear as part of the Exhibition.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Submission must be received between 00:00 London Time on September 25th, 2014 to 11:59 PM London Time on October 20th, 2014 to be considered for the Exhibition.
• Submission must be in English and your own original work.
• Submission cannot contain last names of any persons other than yourself.

SUBMISSION CONTENT RESTRICTIONS:

Submission may not contain, and you hereby represent and warrant that it does not contain, any content that:

• infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity;
• is sexually explicit or suggestive; obscene or offensive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group endorses or endorses any form of hate or hate group; profane;
• promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may be unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message;
• defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about UNIQLO, its products or services or other people or companies, including UNIQLO’s competitors;
• contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including music, lyrics, dialogue), without permission to the extent permission is necessary;
• contains any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses;
• contains the names or voices of any person, or otherwise identifies any person, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead, without permission, to the extent permission is necessary;
• communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will with which UNIQLO wishes to associate; and/or violates any law, rule or regulation.

If any Submission contains any of the above prohibited content, as determined by UNIQLO in its sole discretion, or for any other reason, UNIQLO may remove the Submission.

GRANT OF RIGHTS TO ENTRIES: All Submissions: By making a Submission, you agree and hereby grant to UNIQLO and its designees, successors, licensees and assigns an unlimited, perpetual, irrevocable, assignable, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, edit, alter, broadcast, stream, post, combine with other materials, exploit and otherwise use the Submission, and all elements embodied therein, in whole or in part, in any manner and in any and all media now known or hereafter devised throughout the universe for any purpose whatsoever, including, without limitation, for commercial purposes and in the Exhibition, without compensation or notification to, or permission from, entrant or any third party. You agree that Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for any unauthorized use of Submissions by third parties. Released Parties do not guarantee use of any Submission.

Submissions Selected for Exhibition: If UNIQLO selects your Submission for use in the Exhibition, you agree to execute any necessary documents to transfer all right, title and interest in the Submission to UNIQLO.

PARTICIPANT NOTIFICATION: Potential participants will be notified via the social network(s) they use and will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law), which must be returned at the relevant UNIQLO store within seven (7) days of date appearing on notification. Return of notification as undeliverable, failure to sign and return requested documentation within the specified time period, the inability of Sponsor to contact potential participant within a reasonable time period, or noncompliance with these Official Rules by potential participant will result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s discretion and time permitting, a runner-up may be notified.

EXHIBITION PARTICIPATION DETAILS: At UNIQLO’s discretion, participants will be selected to come to the UNIQLO Store in London 311 Oxford Street, London W1C 2HP between October 19th and October 20th 2014, to be scanned for a virtual and physical 3D Selfie likeness. Participants will receive their virtual 3D likeness via email; participants will be able to retrieve their physical 3D Likeness after the Exhibition. No travel will be provided and no 3D Likeness will be mailed to any participant.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: By making a Submission, you agree (a) to release, discharge, hold harmless and indemnify UNIQLO, and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the forgoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind (including, without limitation, arising from claims based upon copyright infringement, trademark infringement, invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from your participation in the Program and/or the use of any Submission by UNIQLO or any other Released Party; and (b) to the use by UNIQLO and its designees of your name, social media platform user name, performance, city and state of residence, image (including, without limitation, any social media profile photo) and/or likeness for advertising, publicity, promotional and trade purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, in any manner, worldwide in perpetuity, without compensation or additional consents from you or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered or garbled Submissions; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Program, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Program, the reviewing or aggregating of Submissions or in any Program-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Program. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Program or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Program or website, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Submission Terms, as solely determined by UNIQLO, will be disqualified. UNIQLO reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Program at any time and for any reason. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROGRAM MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, UNIQLO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
